About the Rocky View Weekly

The Rocky View Weekly was established in 1974 by the Taylor family and has been at its present location in Irricana since that day. The newspaper originally began as the Five Village Weekly incorporating the villages of Acme, Linden, Beiseker, Irricana and Kathyrn/Keoma. Since then the circulation of the newspaper has grown to over 15,000 and services a huge rural base surrounding the City of Calgary. The Rocky View Weekly is the official newspaper for the Municipal District of Rocky View and as such is mailed weekly to residents in the M.D.

The Rocky View Weekly is published every Monday and delivered free of charge to over 15,000 families in the MD of Rocky View. Persons living outside of the free distribution area may subscribe by sending their name, address and $60 + GST to Box 40, Irricana, AB T0M 1B0.
